Senior Vice President and CFO
Terri's incredible work ethic has resulted in more than 30 years of professional advancement and entrepreneurship. Terri began her healthcare career as a receptionist at a multispecialty medical practice, then jointed a hematology and oncology clinic, where she was soon promoted to assistant manager. The Northeast Louisiana Cancer Institute purchased the hematology and oncology clinic in 1995, and Terri was promoted to the business administrator. In 1998, she was recruited by P&S Surgical Hospital to become the facility's operations manager. She was quickly promoted to operations director and ultimately, the hospital's CFO and Vice President. Terri is one of the founding partners of SMSO, a robust medical support organization.
Terri's financial and business expertise has contributed significantly to the growth and progress of SMSO. She led the creation and development of operational systems throughout SMSO client base, including hospital, ASC's, physician practices, imaging centers, and a respected anesthesia service. She established hospital practice/procedures, implemented staff training, and created unique organization methods. Terri also led information technology conversions and updated various clients billing, operational, financial, and clinical systems. She possesses significant expertise in statistics, trending, and analytics. Terri, who is also the Vice President of Procedural Services at St. Francis Medical Center, received the Excellence in Leadership Award for her "instrumental" contributions during the transition of P&S Surgical Hospital to St. Francis Surgery and Heart Center. She serves as the Chair-Elect on the Monroe Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Accounting and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
